Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you use the Go Fresh website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Go Fresh is operated by AlQuood International Company for Fruits & Vegetables W.L.L., State of Kuwait.
What we collect
When you order:
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- The delivery address, including any directions you give the driver
- What you ordered, when, and what you paid
- Notes you add to an order
When you use the site:
- Pages you visited and items you looked at
- A session identifier stored in your browser, which keeps your basket and signs you in
- Your general location only to the extent of the delivery area you choose; we do not track your device location
What we do NOT collect
We never see or store your card number. Card and KNET payments are taken on our payment provider's own secure page. We receive only a reference for the payment and whether it succeeded.
Why we hold it
- To pick, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about it
- To verify your mobile number by one-time code, so an order cannot be placed in your name
- To keep your order history, wallet balance and points
- To answer questions and resolve problems with an order
- To meet our accounting and tax obligations
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Who else sees it
Only where it is needed to run the service:
- Our payment provider, to take the payment
- An SMS provider, to send the one-time code to your mobile
- An email provider, to send order confirmations
- Our own stock and accounting system, which holds the order
- Our delivery staff, who see the name, address, phone and items for the order they are delivering
Each of these receives only what it needs for that purpose.
Marketing
We only send marketing messages if you have asked for them. Every marketing message includes a way to stop receiving them, and stopping is immediate. Messages about an order you have placed — a confirmation, a delivery update — are not marketing and are sent regardless.
Cookies and storage
We use browser storage to keep your basket, remember that you are signed in, and remember your chosen branch and language. These are necessary for the site to work.
If we use analytics to understand how the site is used, that is covered here and the data is aggregated — it tells us that a page was viewed, not who you are.
How long we keep it
- Order records: as long as required for accounting and tax purposes
- Account details: while your account is open, and for a reasonable period after
- One-time codes: minutes
- Delivery notes and directions: with the order they belong to
Your choices
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your account and personal details, except records we are required to keep for accounting
- Stop sending you marketing
Email hello@gofresh.com and we will respond. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that nobody else can make these requests about you.
Security
Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it. The site is served over an encrypted connection. Administrative access requires a separate password.
If a breach occurs that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
The site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version on this page is the one that applies.
